# Tutorial: How to Display Messages Based On Customer Tag

###### Step 1

Add the **Custom Banner ** in your checkout in the editor

###### Step 2

In the **Show Banner Based** On you will need to select:

**Customer Tag Present**

Then for the **Show Banner Based On Value ** add the customer tag you want to display this for

Select **Save** on the editor and you are all done!
